Dailies Total 1 Multifocal 30-Pack Daily Disposable Contact Lenses for Presbyopia

Buy DAILIES TOTAL1 Multifocal online at Optic One UAE, with delivery across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and all Emirates. This is Alcon’s water gradient daily lens for people whose near vision has started to blur, usually from the mid-40s. One lens gives you clear vision for reading, screens and distance, so you can leave the reading glasses at home. In an Alcon survey of 544 presbyopic lens wearers, more than 8 in 10 agreed the lens feels like wearing nothing at all.

What Dailies Total 1 Multifocal does for you

• Water Gradient material: forget you are wearing lenses. The silicone hydrogel core holds 33% water for breathability, while the surface is almost 100% water. Your eyelid glides over a cushion of moisture with every blink, so the lens stays comfortable from the first minute to the end of a long day, even in air-conditioned offices and cars.
• SmarTears Technology: tears that stay stable. The lens releases phosphatidylcholine, an ingredient found naturally in tears, which helps stabilise the oily layer of your tear film. A stable tear film evaporates more slowly, which means less of the dry, gritty feeling many lens wearers notice late in the day in the UAE climate.
• Precision Profile Design: smooth vision at every distance. A centre-near design with a bi-aspheric surface moves smoothly from near to intermediate to distance power, with no sudden jumps. Read a menu, check your phone, then look back up at the road without changing glasses. The optic zone is designed for a wide range of pupil sizes, so vision holds up in bright sun and in dim restaurants.
• Dk/t 156: white, healthy-looking eyes. Oxygen transmissibility of 156 is the highest of any daily lens in our range. More oxygen reaching the cornea means less redness and fewer tired-looking eyes after long wearing days.
• Ultra-soft surface: gentle on the eye. The surface is more than 50 times softer than the core (0.014 MPa against 0.76 MPa), so the only part that touches your eye is the soft, water-rich layer.
• Fresh pair every day: no cleaning, no solutions. Open a new sterile pair each morning and throw it away at night. Nothing to clean, no case to carry when you travel, and the lowest build-up of deposits, which suits sensitive eyes and people who wear lenses only a few days a week.
• 96% first-fit success: fewer trial visits. With Alcon’s two-step fitting method, 96% of wearers were fitted successfully with two lenses or fewer per eye. In plain words, most people get the right lens on the first or second try instead of weeks of trial pairs.
• Wide power range: most prescriptions covered. Powers from +6.00 to -10.00 in 0.25 steps and three ADD levels (LO, MED, HI) cover most presbyopic prescriptions, including higher short-sighted ones.
• Handling tint: easy to see and handle. A light VISITINT tint makes the lens easy to spot in the blister and on your fingertip. It does not change your eye colour.

• You already wear Dailies Total 1 and now need help up close: same material, same comfort, now with multifocal optics.
• You spend long days on screens and want smooth focus between laptop, phone and the room around you.
• You wear lenses only some days (sport, events, weekends) and want a fresh sterile pair each time.

Prescription and ADD: what to select

Multifocal contact lenses are ordered with a power and an ADD for each eye. As a guide, Alcon’s fitting chart matches a reading addition of up to +1.25 to LO, +1.50 to +2.00 to MED, and +2.25 to +2.50 to HI. Your contact lens prescription can differ from your glasses prescription, so use the power and ADD written on your contact lens prescription. Not sure? Send a photo of your glasses prescription on WhatsApp and our optometrists will help you work out the right lens, or visit our Abu Dhabi store for a multifocal fitting. Give new multifocal lenses 5 to 10 minutes in normal light and a few days of real-life wear before you judge them; your eyes adapt quickly.

Delivery across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and the UAE

Delivery across the UAE usually takes 2 to 4 days, depending on the power and ADD you need. Delivery is free on orders over AED 200. Every power and ADD in Alcon’s range can be ordered. If your exact prescription is not available, we tell you promptly and you choose between a special order (4 to 7 weeks) or a full refund. Daily lenses run out quickly, so order 5 to 10 days before your last pair. We also ship to Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain, and worldwide.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why are dailies total 1 so expensive?
Dailies Total 1 costs more than standard daily lenses because of how it is made: a silicone hydrogel core with a separate water gradient surface that is almost entirely water, plus SmarTears, in a single-use lens you throw away every day. The multifocal version adds Alcon’s Precision Profile optics. You pay for comfort and breathability that cheaper dailies do not match. If your current lenses already feel fine all day, a value daily multifocal such as Clariti 1 Day Multifocal may be all you need.

Is there a trick to wearing multifocal contacts?
A few things help. Give your eyes 5 to 10 minutes in normal daylight before judging the vision, and wear the lenses in real life for about a week; the brain needs time to learn the new focus. Keep both eyes open, look through the lens rather than over it, and use good light for small print. If one distance stays weak, tell your optometrist: a small change of power or ADD usually fixes it. One handling tip for Dailies Total 1: the surface is very slippery, so dry your fingertips well before removing the lens.

What are the disadvantages of multifocal contact lenses?
Multifocal lenses share focus between distances, so very small print or night driving can feel slightly less sharp than with single-vision lenses, and some people notice halos around lights in the first days. They cost more than single-vision lenses and need a careful fitting. Most wearers accept these trade-offs for the freedom from reading glasses; in Alcon’s survey, nearly 7 in 10 presbyopes said Dailies Total 1 Multifocal gave them that freedom.

How long can I wear Alcon dailies total 1?
They are single-use daily disposable lenses: wear one pair for one day during waking hours, then throw them away. Never sleep in them and never reuse a pair. Your optometrist will tell you the maximum daily wearing time that suits your eyes.

Are DAILIES TOTAL1 worth it?
If your lenses feel dry by evening, if you wear lenses for long days, or if you want to forget you have lenses in, yes: more than 8 in 10 wearers in Alcon’s survey said the lens feels like nothing. If a basic daily lens is already comfortable for you and your vision is fine, you may not notice enough difference to justify the price.

Do you ship Dailies Total 1 Multifocal contact lenses to Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait or Bahrain?
Yes. We ship Dailies Total 1 Multifocal contact lenses to Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain, and worldwide. Send us your contact lens prescription on WhatsApp; we confirm the powers and ADD for each eye and courier the lenses to you. Shipping cost and delivery time are confirmed before you pay.
