Clear Lenses

Polycarbonate Lenses
Polycarbonate lenses are widely used in sports glasses due to their superior impact resistance, lightweight nature, durability and affordability.Our standard Polycarbonate lenses are available in two options- with or without an anti-reflective coat.

1. SV 1.59 Polycarbonate without Anti-Reflective Coat
Polycarbonate is a highly impact-resistant material that is also lightweight, making it an excellent choice for sports goggles. This lens option is budget-friendly and provides good clarity, but does not come with an anti-reflective coating.

2. SV 1.59 Polycarbonate Lenses with Anti-Reflective Coat
This is the same polycarbonate material as the previous option, but with the added benefit of an anti-reflective coating. This coating helps to reduce reflections on the lens, which can improve visual clarity and reduce eye strain.

3. SV Trivex 1.53 Clear
Trivex is another lightweight and impact-resistant material that is comparable to polycarbonate in terms of performance. However, Trivex has better optical quality and scratch resistance than polycarbonate, making it a premium lens option for those who want the best possible clarity and durability. Choose Trivex if your prescription is less than +/-4.00 SPH & -3.00 CYL.

4. 1.60 MR8 Clear
MR8 is a high-index material that offers superior optical quality and scratch resistance, as well as excellent impact resistance. This makes it a great choice for people with stronger prescriptions who need lenses that are thin and lightweight, and a material superior to standard Polycarbonate. Ideal for prescriptions up to +/-6.50 SPH & -4.00 CYL.

5. SV 1.67 Clear
This lens option is made from a higher-index material than the previous options, which makes it suitable for stronger prescriptions ( higher than +/- 6.00 SPH). It provides good clarity and is also thinner and lighter than lower-index materials, making it a good choice for those who want lenses that are as unobtrusive as possible.

Transitions® Lenses

6. SV 1.59 Polycarbonate Transitions® Gen8 Gray

This lens option is a photochromic lens that changes from clear to gray in response to UV light. It is made from the same highly impact-resistant polycarbonate material as the first two options, and is the latest generation of Transitions® lenses, offering faster and darker performance.

7. SV 1.67 Transitions® Gen8
This is another photochromic lens option, but made from a higher-index material than the previous one. It is a good choice for those with stronger prescriptions who need lenses that are thin and lightweight.
