What are the differences between Transitions® GEN8 & Transitions® XTRActive Polarized?
Transitions® XTRActive Polarized provides extra protection from light and glare, and are activated even inside a car. Although they are almost indistinguishable at their darkest point , XTRACtive polarized can get slightly more darker. Transitions Xtractive will have a perceivable light- tint at its clearest point which is helpful if you are a light sensitive person.
Transitions® XTRActive Polarized is only available in gray color but Transitions® GEN8 is available in total 7 colors.
Are Transitions® XTRActive polarized lenses get as dark as a sunglass inside the car?
No. The Transitions® XTRActive Polarized gets up to 2%-35% darker inside the car which is comfortable enough for most people for driving. The polarization will not be active inside the car.
